About Us

Lynn practiced both civil and mechanical engineering from 1960 to 1989, and became a Professional Mechanical Engineer in 1978.

Lynn L Harp is a graduate of Purdue University, 1960 Civil Engineering Technology and 1974 Mechanical Engineering.

Lynn's professional training in the design and completion of large building projects made him very aware of the importance that people and money play in the development and security of life, whether it be a building or your life savings.

Lynn was hired in 1990 by Principal Financial Group as a direct agent of the Principal Mutual Life Insurance Company. Home base was the San Jose office for three years with most of his business in the Monterey Bay area, where he currently has an office and residence.

In 1993 he became an independent insurance broker and began developing his business throughout California, Arizona, Texas, Indiana, Michigan and Colorado.

Lynn now has four additional agents he mentors and each are serving the Financial insurance needs of clients in California. Please see his Associates web page for more information.
